♥ Happy Halloween!

Instead of carved it’s a painted pumpkin! Isn’t it pretty? I noticed the price tag says $28—that’s kind of steep! [ Photo credit ]
I’ve always loved Halloween, it’s probably one of the funnest ‘holidays’ of the year. Unfortunately, I don’t have any big plans for today. I was going to hand out candy but I’m not sure that many kids trick-or-treat in my neighborhood. Oh well.
I just spent some time browsing the internet for some Sanrio related Halloween pictures and found a few awesome ones to share. Hopefully not a lot of people have seen these before. Also, if anyone has any cool Hello Kitty or Sanrio related pictures, please send them to my email at crystal@sanrio-love.com. I’d be more than happy to post them on this blog.

♥ $1 Hello Kitty Target Loot
Posted by Crystal - 29/10/08 at 05:10:36 pm
I stopped in Target yesterday and got a few Hello Kitty items from their dollar bin. I was only supposed to go to the store for necessities, but what’s a dollar, right? They really didn’t have much; a lot of the bins were empty and some items were things I’d never use like little kid ponytail holders and headbands. They had some adorable kiddie socks but my feet would never fit in them. Too bad my nieces don’t live here. Here’s what I ended up getting:

Picture frame magnet, Christmas magnets, and strawberry lip gloss.
You can never go wrong with magnets. I love putting pictures on my fridge, and on day it shall be covered with them! I got the lip gloss because well, I love lip gloss and it’s adorable and smells yummy. The only downfall is it has mineral oil in it which isn’t good for your skin. The gloss may dry out the lips, so a good thing to do is put chap stick on before applying it. Well, that’s enough of my makeup lesson for today.
Had to take a macro shot:

♥ These will be on my tree (hopefully)

I think Urban Outfitters may be the best store on the planet. Why you ask? Well…besides having awesome clothes and unique merchandise, they have some Deery Lou Christmas ornaments available—and Hello Kitty too! It’s good to see Deery Lou back in a store that won’t make him some emo kid’s new obsession (*cough*Hot Topic*cough.*) Sorry, just had to put that out there…while searching for Deery lou the other day I found something called ‘Deery Lou the emo fawn’ or something along those lines.. Oh Sanrio, won’t you release a new Deery Lou series? Anyway the ornaments! Yes, they’re adorable and I want them all. It’d be nice if they weren’t $8 each—I’m not rich here!

If I can’t get them all I’ll settle for the one with the pink ears.

♥ New design!
Posted by Crystal - 20/10/08 at 02:10:55 am
OK, so I know this site has only been up a few days but here I am presenting a new design! I really wasn’t feelin’ the last one, and this one is so pretty and…pink. I still have some kinks I’m working out, but this design will probably be up for awhile. Or, until I become obsessive-compulsive and decide that it just isn’t good enough. Anyway, I hope you like it!
I was browsing for an image to use for the welcome part on the sidebar and I found this livejournal community with the cutest animated icons.

So adorable!
