♥ A closer look at the Hello Kitty + MAC collaboration

More photos of the MAC + Hello Kitty collaboration scheduled to release in February have made their way onto the internet! The photos give us a closer glimpse of the color and packaging of the products, so, I knew I’d just have to write a post. While I’m still excited, I’ll admit that I’m a little disappointed with the colors—they’re kind of dull for Hello Kitty. Maybe it’s just the bad photo quality? I’m just trying to stay optimistic here, I don’t by any means hate the colors; the orange and pink lip glosses look nice and the blush as well. I also love how Hello Kitty is engraved into the lipstick! It just stinks that I won’t have a lot of money to spend on the collection. I know I want to get the plush and hopefully a few other things…wish I could get it all. I plan to be at the MAC store on February 12th! You know it’s going to sell out fast.

♥ Hello Kitty around the mall

Yesterday, the boyfriend and I went down to Citrus Park Mall so I could check out Julianne’s Fun Shoppe. I found her boutique browsing the store locator on the official Sanrio website; I wanted to check out a new store closer to my home. A good thing about having the boyfriend with me is it gives me courage to take photos! I really liked Julianne’s Fun Shoppe, her store carries a lot of Sanrio items as well as other cute goodies.

I bought cookie cutters, stickers, and a lollipop but will show off the photos in another post. (I gotta make something using the cutters first.) Instead, I’m going to post the pictures I got of Hello Kitty in different stores around the mall. Even though I stopped in very few stores, I still saw a lot of her!

I’ve just made a new Sanrio group on flickr, so go and join! Maybe it will get motivate me to start taking more photos of my Sanrio stuff…Although, I’m kinda picky when it comes to uploading photos. I do love looking at people’s collections, even though they usually blow me away and make me jealous. I need to become friends with more collectors so people will just start sending me stuff! Anyway, go join the group! You should feel pity for me, I spent probably two hours sending invites and have ten members so far. Go me!

♥ Sanrio themed Christmas trees

What’s the best way to represent Sanrio for the holidays? With a Sanrio (Hello Kitty) themed Christmas tree of course! I wish I could buy a miniature pink tree so I could deck it out in Sanrio ornaments. Instead of just Hello Kitty, I think I’d try to do every character so that mine would be unique. I set up my main tree the other day, and while it’s seriously lacking some ornaments I still managed to rep the kitty with the one ornament I have of her.

♥ Cherry Boop’s handmade kitty rings

I’ve been looking at a lot of jewelry lately, mainly because I don’t have much. I really need some rings because I have zero. While browsing etsy, I found these really cute Hello Kitty and Charmmy Kitty rings in Cherry Boop’s shop.

I love indie pieces and would wear every single one of these rings. The top left ring is my absolute favorite! It seems like I always think items of just a characters head are the cutest. I like simple.
