♥ I got MAC Hello Kitty!

I said I would definitely get some MAC Hello Kitty and that’s just what I did! I didn’t get everything I wanted off my wish list but I’m happy with what I got. After reading some reviews I decided I could live without a few things. And…I’m not Miss money bags. The UPS man literally dropped off the “Something About Pink” nail lacquer and “Strayin” lipstick an hour ago, and I went out yesterday and bought the “Tippy” Beauty powder blush because I wanted to see the collection in person. I haven’t tested anything out yet but plan on it tomorrow, or maybe I’ll paint my toenails tonight!

I just love how Hello Kitty’s head is engraved in the lipstick:

The new Tokidoki + Hello Kitty collection is now online at both Sanrio.com and Tokidoki.it It may be super expensive, but it’s popular so you better jump on it before it’s gone! I really like the cosmetic cases and plushes! If I’m lucky I might be able to afford a letter set.

♥ Hello Kitty MAC Collection Wish List

I’m keeping my wish list for this collaboration quite small because I’m not loaded. I may not even be able to get all the stuff on the list, but I can always visit eBay and pay $6754684 over the retail price if there’s something I miss and absolutely must have. As you can see, I really love pinks. As for the purple lipstick; I’ve just always wanted to try out a purple shade… I like that they included a gray polish because gray is really hot and trendy right now. I probably won’t get the brushes, but it would be great if I could because I need some more.

I also love the Kitty Kouture collection, but there’s no way I’m spending $28-$90 on makeup right now—I wouldn’t even want to use it!

More photos of the MAC + Hello Kitty collaboration scheduled to release in February have made their way onto the internet! The photos give us a closer glimpse of the color and packaging of the products, so, I knew I’d just have to write a post. While I’m still excited, I’ll admit that I’m a little disappointed with the colors—they’re kind of dull for Hello Kitty. Maybe it’s just the bad photo quality? I’m just trying to stay optimistic here, I don’t by any means hate the colors; the orange and pink lip glosses look nice and the blush as well. I also love how Hello Kitty is engraved into the lipstick! It just stinks that I won’t have a lot of money to spend on the collection. I know I want to get the plush and hopefully a few other things…wish I could get it all. I plan to be at the MAC store on February 12th! You know it’s going to sell out fast.

♥ New Tokidoki + Sanrio

Sanrio and the all mighty tokidoki have collaborated once again bringing some fresh items based on 3 new designs! The new items will launch on December 10th just in time for Christmas. You can view the items from the new collection here.

Sure looks FABULOUS, doesn’t it? It seems Hello Kitty is based on tokidoki’s Donutella character—and I love it! I’ve always thought Hello Kitty meshed well with cute sweets—donuts, cupcakes, lollipops, ect…
