It’s always nice having a boyfriend who makes up for being a jerk with gifts. While I only bought my man a Little Mermaid card (yes, I’m weird) and chocolates for V-Day; he got me flowers, chocolates, and a bunch of Hello Kitty stuff! And now, I’m here to brag with photos. Sorry for the blurry-fabulousness, I was rushing.

♥ Christmas goodies from the boyfriend

Wow, I can’t believe how fast time flies! I haven’t updated in four days but it feels like I did just yesterday! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! Mine was just fine and dandy. The boyfriend and I didn’t go all crazy and spend an excessive amount on each other like we did last year, and I think I like it better this way. He did get me some Sanrio goodies though! It’s funny because he said he wouldn’t be getting me any. Ha! Here’s what I got:

I was actually a little confused when I opened this Badtz Maru coin wallet, I remember telling him that one of my friends liked Badtz, but I never said that I liked him. He told me he thought I said it was cute? It’s OK though…I don’t hate Badtz Maru, I just think of him to be aimed more towards boys I guess.

It’s a Hello Kitty mouse pad! Now I just need a Hello Kitty mouse to go with it.

♥ To toast, or not to toast

Look what I got in the mail; the famous Hello Kitty toaster that toasts HK’s face right on the bread! It’s one of my Christmas presents from my dad and stepmom. I always wanted this toaster, but never bought one because I hadn’t lived on my own. Now that I have one I have a dilemma; I don’t know if I want to remove it from the box or not. It’s just that it’s so cute, and imagine if I could keep it in the box for years…plus, I already have two basic generic toasters. Should I take it out of the box? I am curious about the toasting… I need to decide something, it’s been sitting on the kitchen counter since I got it.

Today is Hello Kitty’s 34th birthday! I celebrated the special day by taking a trip down to the official Sanrio boutique in Tampa. I was hoping to catch Miss Kitty herself, unfortunately, by the time I got there she had left for the day. I did however score some free goodies, make a few purchases, and take some pictures!

Thanks to some guy getting his picture taken with a Hello Kitty crown on, I came up with enough courage to ask the sales associate to take a picture of me. I hate the way I look in it!

♥ $1 Hello Kitty Target Loot

I stopped in Target yesterday and got a few Hello Kitty items from their dollar bin. I was only supposed to go to the store for necessities, but what’s a dollar, right? They really didn’t have much; a lot of the bins were empty and some items were things I’d never use like little kid ponytail holders and headbands. They had some adorable kiddie socks but my feet would never fit in them. Too bad my nieces don’t live here. Here’s what I ended up getting:

Picture frame magnet, Christmas magnets, and strawberry lip gloss.

You can never go wrong with magnets. I love putting pictures on my fridge, and on day it shall be covered with them! I got the lip gloss because well, I love lip gloss and it’s adorable and smells yummy. The only downfall is it has mineral oil in it which isn’t good for your skin. The gloss may dry out the lips, so a good thing to do is put chap stick on before applying it. Well, that’s enough of my makeup lesson for today.
