♥ Christmas goodies from the boyfriend

Wow, I can’t believe how fast time flies! I haven’t updated in four days but it feels like I did just yesterday! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! Mine was just fine and dandy. The boyfriend and I didn’t go all crazy and spend an excessive amount on each other like we did last year, and I think I like it better this way. He did get me some Sanrio goodies though! It’s funny because he said he wouldn’t be getting me any. Ha! Here’s what I got:

I was actually a little confused when I opened this Badtz Maru coin wallet, I remember telling him that one of my friends liked Badtz, but I never said that I liked him. He told me he thought I said it was cute? It’s OK though…I don’t hate Badtz Maru, I just think of him to be aimed more towards boys I guess.

It’s a Hello Kitty mouse pad! Now I just need a Hello Kitty mouse to go with it.

♥ Sanrio Holiday goodies on sale at Urban Outfitters

The ornaments I had previously blogged about and other holiday goodies are now on sale at Urban Outfitters. Yay, I love a good sale!

You better get them before they’re gone—this ornament is already sold out. = ( I may order some stuff from the site in the next couple of days… I’d rather physically head down to the UO store so I can avoid paying shipping and handling…but, then again, it’d probably cost the same in gas. I’m on a tight budget, otherwise I’d get everything. My Christmas tree really needs some love.

I think Urban Outfitters may be the best store on the planet. Why you ask? Well…besides having awesome clothes and unique merchandise, they have some Deery Lou Christmas ornaments available—and Hello Kitty too! It’s good to see Deery Lou back in a store that won’t make him some emo kid’s new obsession (*cough*Hot Topic*cough.*) Sorry, just had to put that out there…while searching for Deery lou the other day I found something called ‘Deery Lou the emo fawn’ or something along those lines.. Oh Sanrio, won’t you release a new Deery Lou series? Anyway the ornaments! Yes, they’re adorable and I want them all. It’d be nice if they weren’t $8 each—I’m not rich here!

If I can’t get them all I’ll settle for the one with the pink ears.

OK, so I know this site has only been up a few days but here I am presenting a new design! I really wasn’t feelin’ the last one, and this one is so pretty and…pink. I still have some kinks I’m working out, but this design will probably be up for awhile. Or, until I become obsessive-compulsive and decide that it just isn’t good enough. Anyway, I hope you like it!

I was browsing for an image to use for the welcome part on the sidebar and I found this livejournal community with the cutest animated icons.

When trying to find Wordpress themes featuring Sanrio characters it’s not exactly easy. Try using the google machine and you probably won’t have any luck. You’ll most likely only find two Hello Kitty themes listed on the first page. Lucky for you I’ve browsed many blogs in my time and have come across a few freebie themes. So, I figured it would be nice to share them here. Keep in mind that I didn’t make any of these; I haven’t tested them or know if the coding is valid so use at your own risk!

Hello Kitty

This is by far the best free Hello Kitty Wordpress theme I’ve found. It’s very clean, simple, and would make the perfect theme for the Fall season. It’s made by the very talented Brigitte

Another super cute Hello Kitty theme featuring pink colors and bows. I actually did test this one out today and it seems to be working fine. Made by Karen. She also has a Charmmy Kitty theme available.
