Late Christmas gift: Hello Kitty alarm clock

hello kitty alarm clock

My other Christmas gift from my old man finally arrived in the mail the other day—it’s a Hello Kitty alarm clock! Unlike the toaster he bought me, I removed the alarm clock from it’s box immediately. I read a review about it on amazon.com saying it doesn’t catch frequencies very good, well I have to disagree because a lot of stations come in for me. Besides, what can you expect from a little clock radio without an antenna?

The night light feature is my absolute favorite thing about it though—no more tripping over stuff at night on my way to the porcelain thrown!

It’s definitely a great buy for any sanrio fan!

Is this not an awesome camera modify?! The rubber on the lens looks stock! I’m thinking Nikon or even Canon should get together with Sanrio and make something similar to this. There’s a lot of fabulous regular HK digital cameras out there, but now they need to make a high quality SLR! Or, I need to at least learn how to pimp out my own stuff!

New SOTEC Hello Kitty netbook laptop

sotec hello kitty laptopSOTEC has contributed to the kawaii world with the release of the Hello Kitty Netbook!

From crunchgear.com:
The Hello Kitty C1 features an Atom N270 CPU (1.60 GHZ), 1GB of RAM, a 120GB HDD, a 10.1? TFT display (resolution: 1,024×600), a web cam, a QWERTY keyboard (layout: Japanese/US) and three USB 2.0 ports. Windows XP (SP 3) and a Hello Kitty wallpaper are pre-installed.

Normally the computer is available as a limited edition only in Japan (where it’s already available) but people living outside Nippon can order the C1 from here ($890.95 plus shipping).

How cool that it’s available for purchase in the US! I’d add it to my wish list except I’ve always wanted a regular-sized laptop. Some pink colors would also be nice… This one is still cute though, I love how she’s branded on the case.

A different kind of Hello Kitty camera

I’ve always wanted to get my picture taken with Hello Kitty ever since I found out she visits the mall, and, there’s a couple reason why I haven’t yet. Number one: the mall with the Sanrio store is an hour away. Number two: I don’t know when or how often the big kitty shows up. Plus, being 23 years old, I’m a little embarrassed to go wait in line by myself to get my picture taken with her. I could drag my boyfriend along, but last year he wouldn’t even sit on Santa’s lap for a picture!

Well, the other day I found an alternative — the disposable Hello Kitty camera at Urban Outfitters!

The single use camera takes 24 pictures on 35mm film that comes pre-printed with cute Hello Kitty frames. OK, so it might not be the same as getting my picture taken with some poor sweaty dude in a Hello Kitty costume, but I think it’s still a fun concept. I bet some kiddies would have fun with it!
