The Easter bunny may have forgotten me this year but my sister sure didn’t! She got me this adorable Hello Kitty Easter basket filled with a few cute things from Target.

♥ Sanrio at Uwajimaya Asian specialty supermarket

My good internet pal Janine sent in these pictures of her and boyfriend Donny posing with Sanrio goodies at an Asian market. She says:

From our trip to Uwajimaya Asian Grocery this week - took these with you in mind. The bag I’m holding was like $80 but gorgeous!

That is a gorgeous bag!

Apparently, Donny got a little excited when he saw all that wonderful Sanrio goodness—and why wouldn’t he!

This picture made my day. I don’t know who is cuter; the plushes or Donny. All I know is that I want that leopard print Hello Kitty plush!

And this is why I need to go to an Asian market. Thanks for the photos Janine!

♥ Hong Kong McDonald’s Cinnamoroll toys

While The United States, Taiwan, and Japan McDonald’s all have different Hello Kitty toys in their Happy Meals— Hong Kong has Cinnamoroll! The toys appear to be light up/flashlight figures featuring Cinnamoroll and his friends. They’re almost as adorable as the little girls in the Happy Meal commercial! Why is Sanrio stuff always better in other countries?

It’s always nice having a boyfriend who makes up for being a jerk with gifts. While I only bought my man a Little Mermaid card (yes, I’m weird) and chocolates for V-Day; he got me flowers, chocolates, and a bunch of Hello Kitty stuff! And now, I’m here to brag with photos. Sorry for the blurry-fabulousness, I was rushing.

♥ Claw games full of Hello Kitties

Being the claw game (or UFO catcher) master that I am, these photos make me want to visit Japan even more than before! I can’t even recall a time when I saw a Hello Kitty or Sanrio toy in a claw machine, yet they seem to be in them everywhere overseas. I’ll need to save money just for playing them!
