♥ Excited for the MAC Hello Kitty Collection

It has been confirmed that MAC cosmetics is releasing a Hello Kitty collaboration collection in February 2009. I couldn’t be anymore excited about this, besides liking the kitty I’m also a huge fan of MAC’s products. I don’t own a lot of their stuff mainly because of the steep price, but in the long run the quality and long-lasting ability is worth it. Add Hello Kitty and it makes it even easier to spend the money. We better start saving now kids! I’m hoping the colors will be a lot like the Barbie Loves MAC collection—with lots of pinks!
Here’s some tidbits of what we might be expecting from the limited edition:
From krasevayadancer@specktra.net:
Geared toward the Mac collectors like us, there will be a couture inspired, jewel laden compact housing a mystery powder and featuring Hello Kitty. This compact will be very much in the style of previous couture collections. It will be luxe, it will be heavy duty, and it will be gorgeous. Pricing will be around $50.
From Specktra Beauty Blog:
I went to the pro store today to make a little haul for myself and I asked about the hello kitty collection and all I got was that its gonna be a black packaging and its gonna have rhinestones…its gonna have a very adult hello kitty look to it…I mean this is nothing new you guys already knew this…but I tried ladies…there’s gonna be like a good kitty and a bad kitty theme to items, like the Heatherette collection.
Ah, hopefully more news starts surfacing soon. Some photos would also be nice!
